PAA's official charity

The Professional Anglers Association (PAA) and the Catch-A-Dream Foundation have entered into a unique partnership that will be formalized on Thursday at Little Flat Creek Ranch near Missouri's Table Rock Lake, according to a PAA release.

In a joint announcement by PAA president Mark Davis and Catch-A-Dream lifetime board member Marty Brunson, the PAA will adopt Catch-A-Dream as its official charity.

Headquartered on the campus of Mississippi State University, Catch-A-Dream is a non-profit organization that grants children in the U.S. and Canada with life-threatening illnesses the chance to experience an outdoor adventure.

Said Brunson “We are extremely excited to have a group of people like members of the PAA who understand the vision we have at Catch-A-Dream and to fully embrace it. We’ve enjoyed great support from the hunting industry across North America. Now, with the PAA on board, we have both the hunting and fishing components in the family. We are absolutely thrilled.”

Said Davis: “On behalf of the PAA, it’s a wonderful opportunity. First and foremost, it gives professional anglers the opportunity to give back. Our charitable contributions to Catch-A-Dream-will raise public awareness of both groups. We couldn’t be happier.”
