The 4th annual Snag Proof Open will take place Sept. 16 at Alabama's Lake Guntersville.
Contestants can use only Snag Proof lures. The 1st-place team will earn $3,000 out of the total purse of $10,000, and big bass will be worth $500. There will also be a $20 side pot for a chance to beat the Snag Proof pros.
The event, set to launch from Goose Pond Marina, will be hosted by television personality Donny Mac. The entry fee is $125 per team. To register, call (800) 239-9090.
