C.A.S.T. for Kids has picked Alabama FLW pro Clay Dyer as its national spokesperson.
C.A.S.T. for Kids' mission is to provide disabled and disadvantaged children the opportunity to enjoy quality outdoor recreational experiences, and also increase awareness of the capabilities of children with disabilities. Dyer, who was born without legs, a left arm or the lower portion of his right arm, has overcome that handicap to compete on the sport's highest levels.
He was introduced to fishing through a program similar to those conducted by C.A.S.T. for Kids when he was a child. He regularly shares his inspirational story with others to help them overcome the obstacles in their lives and donates a portion of the proceeds from his primary sponsorship with BassFan to the organization.
C.A.S.T. for Kids, organized in 1991, conducts 44 events annually in 22 states and Mexico. To learn more about the organization, click here.
