FLW Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series pro John Murray recently inked Powell Rods as his newest sponsor. Powell is a rod company that's been in business nearly 100 years, with deep traditions in fly fishing. It recently decided to expand its lineup for an aggressive push into the bass market, and plans to showcase Murray as its first tour-level pro-staffer. Murray will also collaborate with Powell technicians on rod design.
