Bombardier Recreational products (Evinrude) and Ranger will offer bass and boating enthusiasts a chance to test-drive Evinrude E-Tec engines and Ranger boats hassle-free on Saturday in conjunction with the FLW Tour Championship. The tournament gets under way Wednesday at Logan Martin Lake in Alabama.
BRP VP and GM Roch Lambert said, "Giving consumers the opportunity to run our product is so important. Explaining the technology is one thing, but being able to feel the power and hear the quiet-running engine tells the whole performance story. Everyone is impressed when they step off the boat."
The event is open to the public and hosted by a local Evinrude and Ranger dealer. And there's a bonus for those who participate. Consumers who purchase a Ranger powered by an Evinrude E-Tec within 60 days of attending a test-drive event receive 5 years of engine protection and a Ranger boat cover.
