MLF announced today that two Toyota Series competitors have been suspended from the organization's events for at least a year. The ruling stems from a boating accident in last week's event at the Harris Chain of Lakes in Florida.
Mark Succi of Cataula, Ga. and Douglas Reed of Bridgeton, N.J. received the suspensions after MLF determined that both "operated their boats in an unsafe manner and violated a posted no-wake area." Neither angler nor their respective co-anglers were injured when the boats collided.
