Minn Kota, Humminbird extend B.A.S.S. partnership

Minn Kota and Humminbird, two preeminent brands in the fishing industry and part of the outdoor recreational company Johnson Outdoors, have extended their longtime sponsorship of the Bassmaster Tournament Trail. As Premier Sponsors, Minn Kota and Humminbird will be supporting B.A.S.S.’s six tournament circuits and the Bassmaster Classic through 2024.

“We value our close relationship with Johnson Outdoors and their incredible brands,” said B.A.S.S. chairman and CEO Chase Anderson. “For more than a decade, they have partnered with B.A.S.S. to educate and inspire adventurers to experience fishing and connect with anglers of all skill levels. We’re thrilled to continue working together for the next three years.”

The Minn Kota and Humminbird pro teams feature 20 current Elite Series anglers, including 2021 Angler of the Year Seth Feider, 2021 Rookie of the Year Josh Stracner and four 2021 Bassmaster Elite Series champions – Jeff Gustafson, Lee Livesay, Wes Logan and Bill Lowen.

“Fishing the Elites is something that every kid dreams of who has ever picked up a fishing rod,” said Logan. “I am blessed to run the best products on the market from Johnson Outdoors and I wouldn’t trust my livelihood to anything else.”

“Minn Kota and Humminbird are dedicated to giving every angler the best possible experience on the water,” said Johnson Outdoors Senior Director Joe Brown. “It’s a passion we’ve shared with B.A.S.S. over the course of our long partnership, and we couldn’t be prouder to renew that commitment today. From weekend warriors to Elite Series competitors, the sport of fishing is thriving and we’re proud to work with B.A.S.S. to give anglers more opportunity than ever to pursue their passion.”
