Veteran Major League Fishing angler John Murray has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Sixgill Fishing Products and is using the company's rods during the 2020 season.
Murray joins a Sixgill staff that counts fellow fellow MLF pro Fred Roumbanis and Bassmaster Elite Series pros Tyler Carriere, Tyler Rivet, Randy Sullivan and Dale Hightower.
“The best thing about a company like Sixgill is that they make great products for every level of angler,” said Murray. “They have series that will help beginning anglers who hire my guide service and high-end, advanced gear that fills my needs on the Bass Pro Tour; and they are so great to work with that I look forward to every communication.”
Murray is utilizing the Sixgill Siren Rods matched with the Wraith baitcasting reels and Banshee spinning reels.
“The products are very light, very sensitive, but strong enough to handle anything I’ve thrown at them,” he said. “There are products that I use for everything that I do and I look forward to working to help them develop new products along the way.”
Aaron Hansen, Sixgill's professional angler manager, likes what Murray brings to the table.
