Electronics manufacturer Garmin announced that the company has added six professional anglers to its 2020 Marine Team. The lists consists of Brent Ehrler (MLF), Brian Latimer (B.A.S.S.), Jeremy Lawyer (FLW), Kyle Walters (FLW), James Watson (MLF) and Jimmy Houston, host of Jimmy Houston Outdoors.
“Although new to the Garmin team, these anglers are no strangers to the sport and we’re honored to have them round out the team of leading pros and legends representing Garmin in the inland fishing industry,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin worldwide president of consumer sales. “These men chose Garmin because of our quality of products, innovative technology and reliable service, and we’re excited to be a part of their success on the water.”
The new anglers join the dozens of world-class professional fishermen already running Garmin electronics, including Jason Christie (two-time Elite Series champion), Greg Hackney (2014 Bassmaster Angler of the Year), Chris Johnston (2016 FLW Rookie of the Year), Alton Jones Sr. (2008 Bassmaster Classic champion), Jason Lambert (2014 FLW Rookie of the Year), Scott Martin (2015 FLW Angler of the Year), Andy Morgan (three-time FLW Angler of the Year) and Bill Dance, one of the world’s most famous fishermen and host of Bill Dance Outdoors.
