Three species should play at Cumberland

> What: FLW Series Championship
> Where: Lake Cumberland (Burnside, Ky.)
> When: Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 31-Nov.2)
> At stake: $100,000 for the winner, including a new Ranger Z518L boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard
> Expected field size: More than 200 boats
> What they’re saying: “This is a really good time to be fishing on Lake Cumberland – most of the lake is fishing really well and I expect that we will see all three species of bass – largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass – come into play,” said Ryan Davidson, who competed on the FLW Tour in 2014-15. “The bass are moving into their typical fall patterns. The shad get back in the creeks and the fish are migrating with the bait. Guys are going to be able to fish their strengths and catch them a lot of different ways.”
> Last FLW Series at Cumberland: Nov. 3-6, 2004
> Winner: Brent Ehrler (24-14)
