Lintner lands with Ritual Angling

Jared Lintner, fresh off a third-place finish at the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes Bass Pro Tour, has aligned with startup rod company Ritual Angling for the 2019 season.

Ritual is a months-old company – it launched at ICAST last summer – headed up by former industry sales rep Pat Schlauch.

Schlauch said partnering with Lintner is a win-win. He gets feedback on rod action and designs from a touring professional and whatever changes Lintner suggests can be implemented swiftly.

“As Jared proved last week, they stood up with the other top brands out there,” Schlauch said. “Few people know the feel of a rod for a certain application like a pro bass angler. We’re excited for what the future holds for Jared and Ritual, especially with him switching to MLF.”

Ritual presenting offers two series – both available at Tackle Warehouse – but work has already begun on a series of rods tailored to Lintner’s tastes.

“The whole idea is to have a sense of ownership and having a direct impact on the design and development side,” Lintner said. “The whole company is based off an idea of what’s your ritual at the lake. It’s more of a concept than a sales pitch of, ‘Buy this rod and catch a bass.’ For me personally and business wise, it was a decision I had to make and I’m excited about it.”
