Hayabusa signs 7 FLW Tour pros

Hook manufacturer Hayabusa announced that it's entered into sponsorship agreements with seven FLW Tour pros – Bradley Hallman, Matt Reed, Bill McDonald, Nick LeBrun, Miles Burghoff, Jay Brainard and Tyler Woolcott. They join Casey Scanlon, Bryan Schmitt, Pete Ponds, Blake Smith and Grae Buck on the company's pro staff

Hayabusa is the No. 1-selling bass fishing hook in Japan and is also known for its popular saltwater line.

“As we continue to grow our brand in the USA and expand with retailers in all parts of the country it is critical for us to market utilizing some of the best anglers in the bass fishing industry.” said Hayabusa general manager Kurt Dove, himself an FLW Tour pro. “We have a great mix of anglers competing on the FLW Tour, from a FLW champions and angling veterans to young up-and-comers and FLW Tour rookies. We feel that this is our appeal to consumers as well, a little something of the best for everyone.”

Said two-time FLW Tour winner Hallman: “Hayabusa fishing hooks are the absolute best I have ever used. The attention to detail and different style of technique-specific hook applications give me an edge that improves my chances of catching every fish that bites. Hayabusa will soon be clearly recognized as a big player in the bass fishing market. I am happy to get an opportunity to work closely with them early on in their brand growth.”
