Report: Tour angler Blake's truck, boat stolen

According to a report on FLW's website, Tour angler Derrick Blake's boat and Chevy Suburban were stolen from the parking lot of the hotel where he was staying early Monday morning.

Blake, who is from Rockwood, Tenn., was staying with his family at the Days Inn and Suites in Roseville, Mich., when his 2005 Suburban Z71 and 2015 Ranger Z520 equipped with a Mercury 250 Pro XS and black Power-Poles was stolen by two men, according to hotel security camera footage Blake reviewed.

Footage showed two men exiting a car in the parking lot, then breaking into Blake's truck before getting back in the car. A few minutes later, the men exited the car a second time, got in Blake's truck and drove away with a third person following behind in the car.

The report states Blake will be able to borrow a boat from FLW for the remainder of practice and the tournament, but he'll also need a tow vehicle. Other competitors and sponsors have donated tackle for Blake to use.

If anyone has any information regarding this matter, the Roseville Police can be contacted at (586) 447-4483.
