Wonders of Wildlife up for top aquarium

On the heels of being voted America’s Best New Attraction, Johnny Morris' Wonders of Wildlife in Springfield, Mo. has been nominated in USA Today’s contest for America’s Best Aquarium. Fans can vote for Wonders of Wildlife once per day by visiting www.wondersofwildlife.org/votewow. Voting ends at 11 a.m. CST on April 30.

Wonders of Wildlife was selected as a contestant for America’s Best Aquarium by a panel of nationally respected travel experts through USA TODAY’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards, which celebrates elite destinations and experiences. It features 35,000 live fish, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds representing more than 800 species. Visitors will set sail on a voyages panning the world’s oceans, lakes and streams, bringing them face-to-face with sharks, rays, jellyfish, eels, eagles, otters and black bears, plus giant game fish from around the world.
