In Joe Balog's view, Louisiana is wholly worthy of its designation as the "Sportsman's Paradise" due to the great hunting and fishing opportunities that it offers. With news this week that legislation has been introduced to restrict the ability of the state's private landowners to prohibit boater access to navigable waters flowing over or through their lands, he wonders whether its passage would have a detrimental effect on fish and game populations.
