The Skeeter Real Money program began Jan. 1, but in case your tournament season hasn't started yet, here's a reminder about how and what you can win.
- The Real Money program – a combination of the Skeeter Performance Program and Real Money incentive – is the largest contingency program in Skeeter history.
- Participation is open to tournament anglers who own a Skeeter boat powered by a Yamaha engine. This year, there are no model-year restrictions.
- To participate, register with Skeeter and fish a Real Money-sanctioned event. If you win, Skeeter pays you $1,000.
- Participants who win using a 2006 model Skeeter powered by a 225-hp or larger Yamaha could double their money.
- Skeeter Real Money-sanctioned tournaments must have at least 60 competitors. Currently, more than 700 events are sanctioned, and more are on the way.
- Skeeter said that larger incentives will be available to those anglers who participate in national events and some Regional Championships.
