Auction planned for trip with Clapper

Non-profit charity group Walleyes for Wounded Heroes is auctioning off a series of fishing equipment and experiences in an effort to support wounded military members, law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders.

Among the experiences being offered is a one-day smallmouth charter trip with Bass Fishing Hall of Fame member Steve Clapper.

The trip will be auctioned on Sunday, Aug. 6, beginning at 6 a.m. and closing at 6 p,m. Bidding will begin at $250 and increase in $5 increments. The trip will for two people and the winning bidder will coordinate with Clapper on an agreeable date.
