When you play holo-chess aboard the Millennium Falcon, you let the wookie win. When you design a new tournament format, you let the rookie in, and that's what BASS did. As of yesterday, a new exemption was put in place for the 2006 Bassmaster Majors. The angler who's leading the BASS Rookie of the Year race just prior to each Major will be allowed to fish that Major. Now let's see if the rookie can win.
