Berkley issues Ike statement
Berkley issued the following statement regarding Mike Iaconelli's day 1 DQ at the Bassmaster Classic.
"As a member of the Berkley pro staff, Mike Iaconelli has proven himself to be a fierce competitor and a knowledgeable, passionate angler. He's been a great partner and consummate professional in helping us develop new products and promote our brands.
"Mike clearly had a bad day on the water yesterday. However, we are confident he will put it behind him and get back to meeting the high standards we set for the company and all of our brands. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Mike as a valued member of the Berkley pro staff for years to come."
