What's Hamilton's Lab? It's where Tennessee bass pro, and former Bassmaster Classic winner, Robert Hamilton puts products to the test.
Been there, seen that? Nope. Hamilton has assured us he will pull no punches. No sponsor favoritism, in part because he doesn't really have any endemic ones (check out his BassFan Angler Profile here).
"There's been a need for a factual, unbiased critique of outdoor products and tackle without the spin from paid endorsements," Hamilton said. "All the items I write about will be researched and tested, then critiqued. With over 30 years of fishing and outdoor experience I hope to bring BassFans a complete comparison of outdoor gear, and the ability to make sound choices that fit their budget.
"It's great to be working with BassFan," he added. "They have the most complete Web resource available for bass anglers, and a reputation for shooting straight. I can't think of a better home for my new column."
