Lowrance Electronics has long been a BASS sponsor. It recently signed an agreement to sponsor FLW Outdoors, at which time a BASS official confirmed that Lowrance would continue as a BASS sponsor. BASS has now released details of that commitment and Lowrance will be a premier sponsor of all BASS events through 2008.
BASS VP and GM Don Rucks said, "We're excited to continue our excellent relationship with the premier electronics brand in the business. This year is an exciting time for our industry and we're happy to be aligned with such a quality brand."
As part of the agreement, Lowrance units will be equipped on all Bassmaster Classic boats and Bassmaster Elite Series "TV-days" boats.
Lowrance director of marketing Dave Ittner said, "Lowrance is proud to acknowledge its continued sponsorship and support of BASS and all the anglers fishing the Citgo Bassmaster Tournament Trail. Lowrance continues to provide the latest technology in marine electronics for the benefit of the anglers and the industry."
