New poll: Will a Texan win at Conroe?

New poll: Will a Texan win at Conroe?

The last three Bassmaster Classics have had a distinct home state flavor to them. In 2014, Alabama resident Randy Howell won at Lake Guntersville and later built a home not far from where he caught the winning fish. The next year, Casey Ashley faced down the home-lake pressure and claimed the win at Lake Hartwell. The trend continued last year at Grand Lake, where Edwin Evers' massive day-3 stringer carried the Oklahoman to a popular victory.

In a couple weeks, the Classic will play out in Texas for the first time ever. There are five Texas residents among the field of 52, including previous Classic winners Alton Jones and Takahiro Omori.

In our new poll, we want to know which Texan you favor to win it all at Lake Conroe – Keith Combs, Todd Faircloth, Jones, Alton Jones, Jr. or Omori.
