The team of Mitch Mitchell and Candler McCollum blew away the field at a recent Alabama Bass Trail event at Wheeler Lake. Their winning bag was truly special as it exceeded 30 pounds and was comprised of three species of bass.
The 30.59-pound haul contained a 9 1/2-pound largemouth, a 7-pound smallmouth and a 4-pound spotted bass, along with two other solid smallmouths. All were enticed by swimbaits.
