Redington lands beverage sponsor

GP8 Oxygen Water and FLW Tour angler Tom Redington have entered into a marketing partnership for the coming year.

GP8 Oxygen Water uses a patented process that purifies water while naturally producing four times more dissolved oxygen than regular water. In addition, the proprietary process leaves the pH at the body's preferred 7.4 alkaline level, instead of more acidic like other purified water, which helps the body recover from lactic acid buildup from physical activity.

“Fishing all day in the summer sun day after day, fishermen know the need to stay hydrated,” said Redington, who also hosts the "Big Bass Battle" television show. “My wife has a Master’s Degree in dietetics and we scrutinize sports drinks carefully, trying to find a beverage that is pleasing to drink without sugar and additives. GP8 tastes better than regular water and provides exactly what the body needs, without any extras that it doesn’t.”

GP8 Oxygen Water was specifically designed for active lifestyles and athletes, making it an excellent option for fishermen.

“As a hardcore bass angler and tournament angler myself, I know the toll a long day on the lake takes on your body," said Paul Moussias, director of marketing for GP8. "After drinking just a few bottles, fishermen will taste and feel the difference. We are excited to partner with Tom Redington because he is not only an excellent angler, but he’s well-regarded for his professionalism on and off the water too.”
