Missouri Bassmaster pro Mark Tucker recently completed a boat- and truck-wrap deal with Wahl Clipper Corporation, the maker of grooming products for people and pets. The deal came about through Team Supreme Tackle, which has sponsored him for the past 5 years.
Wahl's worldwide headquarters is in Sterling, Ill., about 20 miles from Team Supreme's Rock Falls facility. "They came to some tournament weigh-ins and got interested in doing something with fishing," he said. "They interviewed four or five of us and I was the lucky one who got picked."
He said Wahl came up with its own style of camouflage for the wrap. "It looks awesome."
His wife is a professional hairdresser, and he said she swears by Wahl's products. "Everybody where she works uses them, and they all say they're the best."
