Last week, B.A.S.S. announced it has earmarked two slots in the 2017 Elite Series field for anglers who would qualify under a newly created Legend criteria.
The criteria is simple: Anglers are ranked by the combined number of Bassmaster Classic and B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year titles they've won in their career. The list includes a number of active Elite Series anglers, but names like Roland Martin, Guido Hibdon, Hank Parker and Bill Dance are suddenly potentially in line to compete in the Elite Series if they so choose.
