FLW Tour pros Robert Pearson, Kenneth “Boo” Woods and Tim McDonald have withdrawn from next week's Tour event at Beaver Lake in Arkansas.
Pearson, a Virginia resident, was recently involved in an automobile accident and was instructed to not fish or participate in any strenuous activities for at least 30 days. He has not yet decided if he will rejoin the Tour for the remaining three regular-season events.
Woods withdrew to stay home with his family in Kentucky after his wife recently gave birth. McDonald, another Kentuckian, had employment obligations that could not be rescheduled.
Woods and McDonald are expected to return to competition at the next Tour event in May at Pickwick Lake. The Beaver event will feature 166 pros.
