Lane catches 20-06 for Seminole lead

Bobby Lane was the lone pro to surpass the 20-pound mark today as the final Southern Open of the year got under way at Lake Seminole.

Lane's 20-06 stringer came flipping grass, but other competitors found the fishing much more challenging. Fifty of the 166 pros either weighed one or no fish today.

Lane's lead is 8 ounces over Brandon McMillan, who caught 19-14 and came into the event as the Southern Division points leader.

Kelley Jaye is 3rd with 18-04 while Randall Tharp is 4th with 17-08. Chad Grigsby caught 17-04 and settled into 5th.
