While practicing Monday for this week's Forrest Wood Cup, reigning FLW Tour Angler of the Year Scott Martin made a pretty unique discovery. While idling in search of some offshore fish, he happened upon a group of boats at the bottom of Lake Ouachita.
The screen shot of his Garmin SideVü appears to show seven boats scattered in a small area in 38 feet of water, in addition to a tree. He joked that this was his top-secret spot at the lake where he won the Cup in 2011.
"This is, by far, the most boats I've ever seen, much less in one spot," Martin said. "I felt a little nervous fishing it."
