Arkansas native Jason Lieblong keyed on areas that had current on them today and bagged a 19-10 limit, anchored by a 5-07 kicker, to take the day-1 lead at the Lake Dardanelle Central Rayovac Series.
“I just put the trolling motor down and went fishing and found some fish on your obvious stuff like laydowns and grass. I even caught some in open water with no structure whatsoever,” Lieblong said in a story posted on FLWOutdoors.com. “I found a little current, and that’s key.”
Nick Prvonozac, who hails from Ohio, settled into 2nd with a 19-00 bag. Toby Corn has 17-08 in 3rd while Jeff Keene is 4th with 17-00. Wells Kaiser caught 16-14 to hold down 5th.
