New poll: FLW Tour AOY chase

New poll: FLW Tour AOY chase

The Lake Chickamauga FLW Tour resulted in more upheaval in the chase for the $100,000 Angler of the Year title.

With his 9th-place finish, Bryan Thrift took over the top spot and will take a 9-point lead over John Cox into the final tournament at the Potomac River next week. Scott Martin, a former Potomac River winner, is 31 points behind Thrift in 3rd.

Wesley Strader, who'd held the AOY lead for much of the season, dropped to 4th after a 77th-place showing at his home lake. How this will play out is anyone's guess, which makes it a perfect topic for our new poll question.
