HydroWave, the manufacturer of the electronic feeding stimulator, announced that it will award an annual scholarship to a full-time student who displays academic excellence, leadership and community service while competing on a college fishing team. The scholarship will be for $1,500 and will be awarded for the first time this August.
The company will also donate a HydroWave H2 to the recipient’s college fishing team.
“HydroWave has supported college bass fishing since our beginning back in 2011 and we wanted to further extend our commitment to the next generation of competitors in the sport," said managing partner Gene Eisenmann. "I’m inspired by the passion and dedication of these students and wanted to reward them for their excellence."
