Justin Lucas has enjoyed the past two weeks fishing out west, posting a victory at the Sacramento River Elite Series and placing 8th at Lake Havasu. He’s heading home this week to rest up for the Toyota Texas Bass Classic in a couple weeks at Lake Fork.
BassFan caught up with Lucas to get his thoughts on this week’s Lake Eufaula FLW Tour. Back in 2013, when the Tour last visited Eufaula, Lucas was the day-1 leader and wound up finishing 3rd so he has a pretty solid understanding of how the lake might set up this week.
“I’ve heard the water temps are getting up into the 80s so that means the off-shore guys will probably dominate,” he surmised.
