A long, slow harvest for Evers

BassFans might be aware that Edwin Evers recently got into the pecan business in his home state of Oklahoma. As he shows in the tongue-in-cheek video embedded below, he still has a ways to go on his learning curve in regard to an important aspect of his new enterprise.

On a more serious note, he said: "Edwin Evers Pecans is not just something with my name on it. This is my family farm. My wife and I are on the deed. We personally handle most of the tree-grafting and transplanting. I laid the irrigation system. I oversee the harvest and my family is involved in every step of the operation."

In addition to the traditional farm-shelled nuts, the company also offers milk chocolate- and white chocolate-coated pecans, honey roasted pecans and crème brûlée-covered pecans. To learn more, got to www.EdwinEversPecans.com.
