Sonar to co-host multi-species show

BassFan columnist Miles "Sonar" Burghoff will co-host a multi-species fishing show that will debut in January on NBC Sports, the Sportsman Channel and Destination America. The show, co-starring fellow tournament angler Joey Nania, is called "Sweetwater."

“This is a project that I am really excited about,” said Burghoff. “This show has a whole new and fresh feel to it, which will be a great way to showcase some of the best fishing action, techniques and lakes around the country. I think Sweetwater is the show that freshwater anglers have been waiting for.”

Added Nania: “Sharing my passion for the sport of fishing is something I have always strived to do. I’m so excited to be able to continue doing that with the incredible platform Sweetwater will provide.”

The show is a product of SE Multimedia, the creators of Saltwater Experience and Into The Blue.

“Sweetwater combines youth and enthusiasm for bass fishing with the high production quality of our other shows. We are extremely excited about the future of this show,” said SE Multimedia co-owner and Saltwater Experience co-host Tom Rowland.
