Veteran writer George Kramer has come out with the 20th edition of his annual list of the Top 40 bass anglers in California. Brent Ehrler is in the No. 1 slot this time, followed by fellow tour-level pros Skeet Reese, Cody Meyer and Jared Lintner.
Kramer doesn't limit the list to just tournament competitors – guides and anglers who pursue the state's giants are also eligible. As with any such endeavor, there are always many proponents and detractors of the selections.
