Ray Scott turned 80 years old on Saturday, Aug. 24. Seemed like yesterday he was organizing that little fishing tournament at Beaver Lake.
Last Friday, there was a small celebration held at Scott's fishing resort in Pintlala, Ala. Alvin Benn of the Montgomery Advertiser was on hand for the festivities, which included a visit from a county music legend's daughter and a phone call from a former U.S. President.
