FLW backing art contest

FLW, the world’s leading tournament-fishing organization, has reached an agreement with Wildlife Forever to become the title sponsor of the State-Fish Art Contest, which supports youth aquatic education nationwide. FLW is providing support for the 2014 program.

“FLW is proud to present Wildlife Forever's State-Fish Art Program, an imaginative introduction of fish art and science to youth,” said FLW Marketing Division president Trish Blake. “FLW's long-term commitment to America's children and education fits perfectly with this program, which increases awareness of and respect for aquatic resources. As national title sponsor of the State-Fish Art Program, FLW hopes to foster interest and enthusiasm about fish and fishing for the next generation."

Said Wildlife Forever president and CEO Douglas Grann: "Our exciting new relationship with FLW will allow us to reach more educators and children as the contest enters its 16th year. "We are grateful for FLW's innovative ideas, enthusiasm and dedication to this goal, which will provide support to State-Fish Art, making resources available to increase participation nationwide and generate the spark of conservation in even more future stewards of our fish and waters.”
