The 2014 Forrest Wood Cup will be held at Lake Murray with Columbia, S.C., serving as the host city. The dates of the event will be Aug. 14-17, 2014.
It'll be the second Cup at Murray. Michael Bennett cashed a $1 million check for winning the 2008 Cup there. It also hosted FLW Tour events in 1998, 2000 and 2003.
In addition, the 2014 FLW Tour schedule was announced Friday. For second year in a row, it's a six-event slate that kicks off in February and runs into June.
Here's the schedule:
> Feb. 6-9: Lake Okeechobee – Clewistown, Fla.
> March 6-9: Lake Hartwell – Seneca, SC
> March 27-30: Sam Rayburn Reservoir – Lufkin, Texas
> April 10-13: Beaver Lake – Rogers, Ark.
> May 8-11: Kentucky Lake – Paris, Tenn.
> June 5-8: Pickwick Lake – Florence, Ala.
> Aug. 14-17: Forrest Wood Cup – Lake Murray
