Bassmaster Opens angler Brent Homan has organized the Operation Kick Some Bass tournament to benefit the Freedom Care Warrior Project. The event will be held Sept. 21 at Lake Graham and Lake Eddleman in Graham, Texas.
It's a no entry fee tournament and the first 60 volunteer boaters will be paired up with a veteran or active duty soldier.
Homan is an Army veteran who received a Purple Heart after being wounded during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
"This is an opportunity to give back to soldiers by raising money and providing a fun, care-free day on the water," Homan said.
