Where Martin's catch ranks

Casey Martin had a magical week at the Lake Chickamauga FLW Tour season finale last week. Not only did the Tour rookie mount a huge rally to qualify for the Forrest Wood Cup, he nearly broke two major FLW Tour records in the process.

His 4-day total of 103-03 was just the sixth time an angler has hit the century mark in an FLW Tour event (Open or Major) and it ranks 2nd on the all-time list behind only Brandon McMillan's 106-10 pulled from Lake Okeechobee in Feb. 2011.

The margin Martin won by – 22-11 – was the equivalent of a great stringer at Chickamauga last week and it also ranks 2nd on the margin of victory list in FLW Tour history. His final-day bag of 30-01 was the 12th-heaviest single-day stringer and second-best not caught out of Lake Okeechobee.
