Curt McGuire retained the lead today at the Kentucky Lake Central EverStart as he weighed a 22-06 stringer that pushed his total to 47-08.
David Gnewikow held on to the No. 2 slot, but instead of trailing by a single ounce, he's now nearly 3 1/2 pounds behind McGuire. Gnewikow caught a 19-02 sack on day 2 for a 44-03 aggregate.
McGuire won the Kentucky Lake EverStart in 2010. He has three other Top-10 finishes in the event, including a runner-up showing in 2005.
