According to a story in today's Fishing Wire, American Bass Anglers is seeking new tournament directors for its American Fishing Tour and American Couple Series events for the 2014 season.
ABA operates more than 800 bass tournaments a year through several different series. All ABA events are coordinated through its national office working together with local directors and providing professionally-run tournaments for the weekend bass angler.
"We are searching for quality individuals who are committed to providing professionally-operated bass tournaments for their local bass anglers," said a posting on the ABA website. "The American Fishing Tour is a grassroots tournament series, and as you might suspect there is work and commitment required to run a successful local division. ABA provides a lot of assistance, including most of the items directors will need to operate our events."
