Paul Pagnato and Kurt Dove, who make up the PK Fishing Team, have officially announced they’ve reached a sponsorship agreement with BK Racing, a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, for the 2013 season.
The BK Racing Team will serve as the primary sponsor on both anglers’ boats, trucks and jerseys as part of the new BK Fishing Team.
“To join the BK Racing Team is an absolute dream for both Kurt and I,” said Pagnato, who will compete in the Bassmater Opens this season. “To be associated with such an established brand and NASCAR team is great for the entire sport of bass fishing. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship for many years to come.”
The deal coincides with Dove’s return to the Elite Series after a 4-year absence.
“The opportunity to align with NASCAR’s BK Racing Team is truly a unique opportunity,” he said. “Both Paul and I are proud to be associated with this partnership and look forward to interacting with our fans.”
Among BK Racing’s main sponsors on the racing side are Burger King and Dr. Pepper. It’s unclear whether this deal includes any tie-ins with those companies.
