Missile Baits announced today it has added FLW Tour angler Bryan Schmitt, of Deale, Md,, to its pro staff.
Schmitt is a 10-time event winner with FLW Outdoors, with more than $750,000 in earnings and two Forrest Wood Cup appearances. Missile Baits owner John Crews feels the company's products will fit with Schmitt's shallow-water, power-fishing prowess.
“I have known and followed Bryan for a while," Crews said. "He is a fantastic angler and really excels at shallow power fishing techniques. Now being armed with Missile Baits, the guys on FLW better watch out even more for Bryan.”
“I’m super excited and blessed to be on the Missile Baits team and to be using proven tournament winning baits," Schmitt added. "With John as the owner and also being a top-level tournament angler, there is no doubt that I will have an advantage fishing Missile Baits. I am joining a super talented team and it will just up my game.”
Schmitt, who also operates the Loosen Up Charters for rockfish and striped bass on the Chesapeake Bay, was the runner-up at the Lake Okeechobee FLW Tour last month.
