This lake is unbelievably full of bass, but size has really been a problem compared to other years. I've fished everywhere from the surface to 50 feet and almost everything I've caught was 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pounds. The 3 1/2-pounders and above have been few and far between.

I'm just going to go the areas where I've caught my best fish – I've got a couple places where I've caught 6-pounders. I think my best odds are to stay in certain areas and hope for another good bite. I'd like to throw a Senko quite a bit and that'll be tough in the wind, but I'll have to give it my best shot.

The top weights will still be big, but it might only take 16 pounds a day or so to make the Top 50. There are just so many little ones, and it's been tough to figure out how to consistently catch the bigger ones.
