For those BassFans who spend their fall in a tree stand instead of a bass boat, you’ve most likely used or heard about Millennium Treestands. They’re known for their comfort and reliable construction.

The same company has entered the boat market using some of the same technology for all-day sitting or leaning comfort with Millennium Marine.

Leaning on a boat manufacturer-supplied pedestal seat is not always the most comfortable thing. Over the years, they get worn out, flat, and simply hard, not to mention the mold and cracking that can occur. Even in the short term, standard pedestal seats get wet and absorb water which leads to a soggy backside. Millennium Marine’s comfortMAX material eliminates all of those issues.

With comfortMAX, the material is mesh-like so it does not hold much water or morning dew. The little bit of wetness that it does retain quickly dries out in a short run down the lake. On hot days, the mesh allows air to freely circulate under the seat and under your backside, allowing for cool, all-day comfort even under the most extreme temperatures.

The seat is a little wider (20 inches) than your standard butt seat, which is by design. This allows your body to fit in-between the aluminum support frame and be supported just by the material, much like a hammock, allowing it to conform to your body shape or whatever you may have in your back pockets. Even with a George Costanza wallet, the material allows for that bulge instead of pressing a fat wallet into your body and causing discomfort.

Installation was very easy, just four nuts/bolts that are supplied to attach to your existing base plate allowing it to fit any pedestal. The comfortMAX material is mold-, mildew- and UV-resistant to prevent color fade and cracking. The seat comes in three colors – gray, green, and white and includes a three-year warranty.

The B-300 seat retails for $79.99. Millenium also makes a full pedestal seat (B-100) and stool (B-200). To learn more, click here.
