The Lew's name continues to churn out quality, high-performance fishing equipment and two of the company's newest products are sure to help you put more fish in the boat.

First, after unveiling a modern version of the BB-1 Speed Spool reel in 2012, Lew's has added the BB-1 Pro Speed Spool to its already-impressive lineup of casting reels.

A new braking system allows for casting control no matter what size bait is tied on the SpeedCast centrifugal braking system has 27 different settings and adjusts with the simple click of a dial on the external side plate.

The BB-1 Pro weighs 6.5 ounces and has 10 bearings along with a carbon composite metal star drag system that packs 14 pounds of drag power.

A perfect match for the BB-1 Pro is the David Fritts Crankbait Speed Stick rod, which was developed with the help of the crankbaitmeister himself.

Available in 6'6", 7' and 7'6" models, these rods deliver the sensitivity and power that crankbait anglers demand. The blanks are carbon fiber composite graphite, making them ultra light without sacrificing strength.

In the embedded video below, Fritts talks about the highlights of each new addition to the Lew's lineup.
