The second half of the quarterfinal matches at the Upper Niagara River Bassmaster Elite Series Classic Bracket on Wednesday offered up a mix of dramatic finishes, convincing wins and a bizarre twist involving one competitor opting to not fish in an effort to help his opponent advance.
So far, this event has been a challenging format for the competitors as they work to dissect roughly 15 miles of river that features heavy current and plenty of recreational boat traffic.
