The 2017 Bassmaster Classic kicked off today at Lake Conroe, just north of Houston, Texas, under cloudy and windy conditions. While there weren't any true Texas giants caught, day 1 still produced plenty of action and set the stage for an interesting weekend on one of Texas' busiest lakes.
Here's a sampling of what we saw on the water this morning.
